Caroline Jannes

Caroline Jannes is a fulltime sport psychologist and mental coach in Belgium. She has both a master in clinical psychology (Ghent University, Belgium) and a master in science in sport and exercise psychology (University of North Caroline at Greensboro, USA). Since 2004 she is/ was active in high level sport schools (Track and Field, Gymnastics, Fencing, Basketball) and collaborates with the Belgian Bowling Federation. She was also active with the Flemish Sailing Federation and the Red Flames during specific projects. She is working in her private practice Psy4Sport and at the Ghent University Hospital. Since 2015 she is safeguard officer of the Flemish Gymnastics Federation and Flemish Judo Federation. During her career she also collaborated in research at the Ghent University and Free University of Brussels. She is lector at the Ghent University (Master sport sciences – coaching, Master Sports Medicine, and Master Fysiotherapy and Rehabilitation). Her topics of interest are: sport injuries, recovery, stress management, concentration, biofeedback. She has a licence in HRV Biofeedback, EMDR and ACT therapy. Furthermore she was and is active as member of managing councils in organisations such as ENYSSP (former president), FEPSAC (former MC member), VVSP (president) and I3SAW (secretary general).
